The Program

A federal credential. Real wages. A career — not a class.

The DEW Apprenticeship Program is registered with the U.S. Department of Labor under sponsor number 2026-GA-141300. Apprentices train in commercial solar PV installation and construction craft labor while earning a paycheck. Upon completion, graduates hold a nationally-portable federal credential employers recognize from California to New York.

Solar PV Installer

Train in commercial rooftop and ground-mount solar installation. Includes OSHA 10 and 30 safety, NABCEP-aligned curriculum, and on-the-job hours with DEW’s active commercial project pipeline.

Construction Craft Laborer

Foundational construction skills for the commercial trades. Site prep, equipment operation, blueprint literacy, and the same OSHA safety credentials required across federally-funded projects.

Wraparound Support

Through partnership with the Georgia BRIGHT Solar for All, apprentices receive mentorship, financial literacy, and direct placement onto DEW project sites.
